Call for Papers and Abstracts

The LM 2019 conference invites you to submit original research and application studies in all areas of logistics management. Special focus of the forthcoming conference is put on digitalization of supply chains and decarbonization in the transport industry, but submissions are not limited to either fields.

Submissions to the conference are received as full papers (15 pages max., including a short abstract and references) or as extended abstracts (2 pages max.). All submissions must be written in English and formatted using a WORD or LaTeX template. Conference languages are English and German. Deadline for paper submission is February 28th, 2019 March, 15th 2019 EXPIRED, and deadline for abstract submission is April 30th, 2019 May 10th, 2019 May 15th, 2019 EXPIRED. Submissions must be handed in electronically via the conftool system.

All submissions are subject to a single blind peer review process based on standard criteria. Accepted submissions will be presented at the conference and accepted full papers will appear in the LM 2019 proceedings in addition. The conference proceedings are published by Springer as a volume of the Lecture Notes in Logistics series, which is available at the conference. All papers must be original research which has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere. At least one author of an accepted submission must be registered for the conference. To publish in the conference proceedings, the corresponding author has to sign a Consent to Publish.

A best paper award sponsored by DHL will be presented at the conference to the best full paper contributed by a young researcher or a team of authors with at least one young researcher as an author. The awarding ceremony takes place during the conference dinner. The award will be presented by Peter Wiegand, head of the DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH.
